Clive Jackson – lead pastor
Clive Jackson is the founding pastor of Father’s House Shaftesbury, along with his wife Sue, Since the 1970s he has been at the heart of renewal in the South West. One of the first to visit Toronto in ’94 he is still committed to
staying in the river. Clive’s passion is to see people with healed hearts, living in the Spirit and in the fullness of the Father’s love.
Based in Shaftesbury, Clive travels widely, and works with an increasing number of church leaders in the UK and abroad. In recent years he has hosted international ministry schools and Encounter Weekends at Lox Lane Christian Encounter Centre.
Clive and Sue, married in 1974, and have four children and thirteen grandchildren. Clive was formerly a farmer before going into full-time ministry; they still live on the family farm in Dorset.
Caroline has been part of Father’s House since 1990, and became the Administrator in June 2015, taking over from Dawn Merry who had been in the role for 30 years! For the 15 years before that she had been part of the management team of the Father’s House Pre-school, Little Acorns. Caroline is very involved in organising the regular Encounter weekends and her passion is to see people set free to live in restored relationship with their heavenly Father and with other people.
Caroline is married to Andrew and they live in Shaftesbury. She has two grown up children, as well as a step-son and his family including two step-granddaughters, and new puppy!
Alistair, who has been a Christian for 35 years and lived in Shaftesbury for 25, is responsible for the finances of the church and for drawing up the accounts as well as assisting in the general management of the church premises. He also gets involved in helping people in financial distress. His background is in branch banking having previously worked for NatWest for nearly thirty years. Alistair is married to Heidi and away from the office enjoys researching his family history (he is a Mayflower descendant) and playing a bad round of golf.
